This book is dedicated to the women who immigrated with courage in their hearts and responsibility on their shoulders. Mothers. Grandmothers. Daughters. Workers. Women who left behind everything familiar to build something better for the generations that followed.
They were brave.
They were afraid.
They did it anyway.
For many, their sacrifices were never fully spoken about. Their stories were expected, not celebrated. This project exists to change that.
We are capturing first hand experiences from the women who made that journey, so their strength is never forgotten and future generations truly understand what was given up for their freedom and opportunity.
